UAE Airlines Adjust Flight Schedules Amid Regional Tensions After Israeli Strikes on Iran
Several UAE flights faced cancellations or were rerouted on Saturday due to escalating regional tensions following recent Israeli strikes on Iran. Dubai-based airline flydubai confirmed that flights to destinations like Jordan, Iran, Iraq, and Israel were affected, with several cancellations and diversions implemented as a precautionary measure.
A flydubai spokesperson emphasized that “the situation is being closely monitored, and adjustments to the flight schedule will continue as necessary.” The airline advised customers to check with the flydubai contact center at (+971) 600 54 44 45 or their travel agents for updates and rebooking options.
Etihad Airways Reroutes Flights
Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways also rerouted multiple flights in response to Middle East airspace restrictions. Emirates Cancels Baghdad, Tehran, and Beirut Flights
Emirates announced that flights to and from Baghdad and Tehran are suspended until October 30. Passengers transiting through Dubai for these destinations will not be accepted until the resumption date. Emirates flights to and from Beirut remain canceled until October 31, with similar restrictions for transit passengers bound for Beirut.
